Expanding to Greater Bangor!

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news—my practice is expanding to Bangor, Maine! After many years rooted in the Portland area, my family and I recently made the move further north due to a wonderful opportunity for my husband’s career. While change always comes with its share of emotions, I’m incredibly grateful for this new chapter, and I am excited to be planting deeper roots in a region that already feels like home.

Before we jump into the details, to my current patients in Greater Portland: rest assured, nothing is changing for you. I’m continuing to see patients in my Portland office and remain fully committed to supporting your care. This expansion simply allows me to share Cove Natural Medicine with a broader community, now offering services in both locations.

Maine Roots Run Deep

My connection to Maine runs deep—I grew up in Scarborough, attended the University of Southern Maine, and have spent much of my personal and professional life in and around the Portland area. That foundation is a meaningful part of who I am and how I practice.

At the same time, the Bangor region and beyond have always held a special place in my heart. My dad is from Millinocket, and I have family ties throughout Washington County (Addison, specifically). Lubec is one of my favorite places on earth, and Ambajejus Lake is where I rest and reset. Being closer to Baxter State Park, Acadia National Park, and the beautiful ragged coast of Downeast Maine is a honestly a dream come true.

I love spending time outdoors—hiking, cross-country skiing, beachcombing, and soaking up all the natural beauty Maine has to offer. I’m especially excited to explore more local farms for berry picking, which is one of my favorite seasonal activities.

Finding a Home in Bangor

Professionally, I’m excited to expand access to holistic, patient-centered care in the Bangor area. I believe there is a growing need for integrative wellness here, and I’m eager to help fill that. Whether someone is managing chronic health concerns or simply looking to feel more vibrant and balanced, I offer a thoughtful, natural approach rooted in both traditional and evidence-based medicine. I recognize the growing need for timely and accessible care in Northern Maine, which is why I will be expanding to offer acute care visits (for colds, UTIs, tick bites, etc) and pediatric care (for extra support).

One area I’m especially passionate about is community education. I look forward to offering local workshops and talks on topics like herbal medicine, nutrition, stress support, and seasonal wellness—providing tools and knowledge people can use in their everyday lives. Helping individuals feel empowered in their health is at the core of everything I do.

Announcements to Come

I’ll be announcing the new Bangor location very soon and will have a clearer idea of my official start date in the weeks to come, so stay tuned! Once I have a start date, I will begin scheduling new patients. One question I have for you, the reader, what services would you love to see in Bangor? I am considering adding in craniosacral and/or reiki specific visits, red light therapy, and maybe even take home sauna rentals.
